Points

What you earn at EG Ampol

Everyday Rewards, 1 point per dollar. A 50L fill at EG Ampol's typical 239.9c earns about 120 points. At the 2,000 points = $10 rate those programs publish, that's about $0.60 back — roughly 1.20c a litre.

Worth keeping in proportion: the gap between the cheapest and dearest brand is measured in whole cents a litre, and a point is worth a fraction of one. Points are a tiebreaker between servos at a similar price, not a reason to drive past a cheaper one.

How these numbers are worked out. Every figure is the median price across all 448 EG Ampol sites with a price in the last 72 hours, and every range is the 10th to 90th percentile — not the cheapest and dearest pump, so a single mistyped price can't move what you read here. Prices come from the state government fuel feeds (FuelCheck NSW, FuelPricesQLD, FuelWatch WA, Fair Fuel VIC, SA) and only count if they were updated in the last 72 hours. A price is discarded if it sits more than 30c below its own state and fuel-type median, which is how a feed's occasional nonsense figure gets caught; prices above the median are kept, because remote roadhouses genuinely charge far more. 44 prices discarded this build.
