What a multiplier is worth

Both programs pay a point per dollar as standard and value a point at 0.5c (2,000 points = $10), so the multiplier converts straight to cash back: 5x = 2.5% · 10x = 5% · 15x = 7.5% · 20x = 10% · 30x = 15%. Anything under 10x is barely worth a special trip.

The catch is always the cap
